What is Bizzybirds?
Bizzybirds is a women’s networking community in East Sussex, offering relaxed meetings where women in business can connect, collaborate, and feel supported. We run face-to-face meetings in Eastbourne, Hastings, Hailsham and Seaford, plus online evening events and occasional social gatherings. There’s no pressure, no pitching and no forced referrals — just genuine connection.
Do you offer virtual meetings?
Our online meetings are perfect if you prefer to network from home, can’t travel, or simply enjoy a slower evening pace. You’ll join via a private Zoom link and take part in relaxed discussions, introductions and shared experiences — all with the same warmth as our in-person meetings.
Can I come on my own?
Yes — many women attend their first Bizzybirds meeting solo. You’ll be greeted as soon as you arrive (or log in), introduced to a few friendly faces, and gently supported so you don’t feel alone or overwhelmed. Within minutes, most people say they feel surprisingly at home.
Are there sales targets, referrals or expectations?
Nope! Bizzybirds was created specifically because Jane didn’t want a networking group with pressure, referrals or mandatory attendance. There are no sales targets, no compulsory pitches and no obligations — just genuine community.
How much does it cost to attend Bizzybirds Networking?
If you’re a non-member it is £15 to attend a meeting. If you join as a member paying monthly or annually you can attend up to 4 meetings a month for £30. Plus there are other benefits of being a member.
How do I join the membership?

There are two options:
Pay As You Go
You’re welcome to book individual meetings whenever you like. This is ideal if you want to try different groups or pop in when your schedule allows. The cost for each meeting is currently £15 and you can book a meeting here: Networking Meetings across East Sussex
Membership
If you attend two or more meetups a month, membership works out more cost-effective than paying for each meeting separately. Members also enjoy extra benefits, including:
